Omg Help! Natalie pee'd on the ottoman

Natalie is almost 2 years old and I still have not been able to get her completely potty trained. She doesn't go in her crate or xpen and can hold it all day and she is good at night. I take her out regularly, praise, treats, she has a bell on the door to ring, which she does sometimes but still goes inside on the carpet. She also hates wet grass, will stand out there and not move or go at all. I have waited 15-20 minutes and all she does is cry. This morning she went on the ottoman, I discovered it when I sat down to put on my shoes!! This is the first time she has gone on the furniture that I know of.

Now for the rest of the story. Two weeks ago I brought home a 12 week old puppy. Natalie is adjusting and they were playing this morning while I was getting ready and everything was fine. I don't know if she changed areas because she was rebellious or if she tried to go on the carpet and the puppy was bothering her. She has been jumping on the furniture when the puppy gets to be too much.

So, I have decided that starting tonight, she gets to wear panties inside if she hasn't gone when we were outside. We are going back to the beginning, regulated watering, more restricted access to the house everything. She gets good for awhile and then goes backwards but this is the worst she has done.

Sorry this is so long, I know a lot of people have trouble training yorkies, and I love her so much, but it's time she grew up and started behaving.

Any and all ideas would be welcome.

Sad

I wish I had suggestions...my sweetie-pie was 6 in June and she still does it, too. I don't know what she's thinking!! I take both my pups out all the time (our male hikes his leg on the baseboard in the hallway) as I don't work outside the home. Sometimes they go outside when I take them out, but they're more than likely saving it up to go on the carpet! Pretty un-nerving for me since we just spend $4k on new carpet. Sorry I'm not more help!

it could be just the change in the house hold or she is trying to mark bc of the new pup.

Is she fixed?

if she dose not like wet grass...well she go on the side walk? At lest its out side and not in your home...

You prob just have to start over and just only give her treats when she is going potty out side.

I am not really much help... Never had one of my girls go back to pottying in the house (KNOCK ON WOOD) hope some one else can help you better.

GOOD LUCK!!

Sophie hated snow. Charlie does not like wet grass. She could be upset because of the new addition. As for the "diaper", make sure you wipe her off at the end of the day to remove urine build-up. Good luck.

PS I place a belly band on Charlie with incontinence pad and it works very well while I am at work. Plus I am not worried about pee pee on the carpet during the day. Once they leave their urine, it is difficult for them not to return to their smell. Just the nature of being a dog.

Default Urine Remover

Excellent and it works. The vinegar is strong, but will dissipate in a few days. The vinegar is very important because it neutralizes the urine.

Thanks for the tips, I'm going to use them all. This is Natalie in her new panties. When she goes outside she gets a treat and doesn't have to wear the panties until she has water again and doesn't go potty when I take her out.
