Aw I bet Boston is a little smartie. Maybe he is just a little willful. You havent had him very long so just try to hang in there. Keep taking him out regularly and maybe take some poo outside with you so he can see where you want him to go. Confine him when you cant be right there with him. I know you have been there before so I am not telling you anything you dont already know. It sounds like you are doing a good job just keep it up and he will get it eventually.

I agree with Chachi. Be consistent and he will prove that he really is a lot smarter than you think.

How old is Boston? My husband and I are looking for a new puppy and Georgia isn't very far from us. We were looking for a girl, but we'd be willing to settle for another boy. PM me if you are interested.

Can you try allergy shots? I used to take them as a kid and then eventually built up immunity to most of the things I was allergic too.

I am allergic to almost all dogs and cats (horses, and basically anything with fur) but I am NOT allergic to my Yorkie. It could be my age.......and my body is just becoming immune to Scruffy. But I thought I heard that Yorkies because of their hair are HYPOALLERGENIC!!?!? I have to admit the first few days to a week, I had runny eyes and the whole bit, but my dog came from a home that had a TON of cats and birds etc..... and these animal were ALL OVER each other, so after giving Scruff a bath with this HYPOALLERGENIC soap (I do this once a week) I am fine. I think it could be worse for a baby though because their bodies are soooo new and they don't have the immune system capable to handle these things.

I am sorry to hear this, good luck!!!

So much for your original problem, huh??

They allergy-tested a 5 month old? That's odd. Most docs won't test that young because they say it isn't accurate.

My doctor actually told me the same thing that they arent usually accurate however I was telling her his symptoms and they were very obvious... she also said he may grow out of it... However he had RSV as a newborn so is already prone to asthma and the dog is causing him to wheeze so even if it isnt accurate I know the wheezing is due to the puppy so thats my reasons for not trying to see if he would grow out of it...
