Default Not sleeping through the night anymore

Bailey sleeps in a crate beside my bed, she used to pretty much sleep through the night until 530am (the occasional wake up to go potty) but is now waking up at 3am most morning and crying.

When I take her down to her pee pad she doesnt need to go...she is just awake and wants to play!

What should I do? If I take her back upstairs she cries in the crate and wont go back to sleep. If I leave her downstairs in her playpen she will play until I get up in the morning....I just hate having broken sleep all the time.

I dont know what has changed.....maybe I should feed her closer to bed time so she has a full tummy?

Suggestions would be appreciated as I am getting my new baby on monday and want to get Baileys sleeping arrangements sorted out!

I started getting a full nights sleep once I let Venus (6 months) sleep with me.

I have pet stairs to the bed, and a pee pad close to the end of the stairs so she can go potty.

She hasn't woke me since! Its so nice not to get woke up 2 times a night anymore!

My baby is 6 months now. He still wakes up at 3am but he doesn't wake me up anymore. He just go and have a walk (no pee pee) and comes back to sleep. He sleeps in his own bed next to my bed.He used to whine and what we do is ignore him and my hubby scolded him once. Just a firm "No!" and that was the last time he woke us up at 3am unless he needs to poo. Try to ignore your baby when Bailey cries because if you tend to her each time, she will know how to get your attention and that is to cry. It will be pretty hard the first few days but after that, it will be easier for you. You need your sleep. Broken sleep makes people feel very tired because you never go in to the deep sleep stage. I have been there and I know.Keep her crate open, pen her up in an area where she can hear you breath or see you and leave a pee pee pad in there and ignore her. She has a place to "go" when she wants to and she can see and hear you and she is safe so let her cry it out and not give in to what she wants each time.It may sound cruel but in the long run, its best for you and Bailey.

We had a full nights sleep last night!

I was sure that she wasnt just being naughty (so not like her, she is a mummys girl and is desperate to please) so I started thinking about any thing that might have changed over the last few weeks and I realised that she hasnt been eating as much in the evening (leaving most of her food).

I dont usually give her wet food (she eats Eagle Pack) but she has had it in the past and LOVES it. So I added one spoonful of wet food to her kibble and she ate it all up....kibble and all.

Poor little baby obviously worked out that she gets fed when she wakes up in the morning and was hungry!

ok, I have this same exact problem!

Wookie isn't sleeping through out the night anymore. I dont know what to do. I was thinking maybe it's because he's sick, but he's been like this for the past few weeks.

I ignore, I scold, but nothing, he whines and whines all night long. And I get no sleep, and he is almost 2 years old now.

What am i doing wrong?
