Crazy puppy?

I haven't posted anything in a while, so here goes.... my baby Rylie will be 4 months in about a week and a half. Well she's very healthy (she was having some tummy issuses a while back..all better tho) she went to the vet and she weighs 4.1lbs as i like to call her my tubby baby.. anyway she doesn't seem to grow height wise or anything like that just gains weight the vet didn't say she was over weight or anything.. (Does anyone know how big she may get)...
Anyway... so my real reason for posting was... is anyone else's puppy very very crazy? my puppy goes mental whenever i get home, she runs around the house with her toy in her mouth so that i can play tag with her, she eats my mom's slippers, and lately she has been getting really bad with her biting, i know she does it when she first sees me to play and i try telling her no and have tried all that stuff.. never works, it's getting really hard now cuz her teeth are so sharp shes not intentionally cut my boyfriends hand twice and there's been blood, i've tried everything but nothing works with the biting. She's starting puppy classes this saturday, but does anyone know what i can do to stop the biting, she's even starting to snap

Do they get less crazy as they get older?

My puppy (Dezi) is 4 months and is also crazy. She runs around in circles (really fast) and I am afraid she is going to hit her head. I am told she also does tbis at doggie day camp. When I take her to day camp (2 times a week), they call her Dezi crazy dog.

Those undesirable habits, like chewing slipper and biting will only get worse as she gets older if those issues aren't addressed now.

The dog whisperer would advise you to totally ignore her when you get home, until she settles down. By giving her attention when she is acting crazy, she will continue to do it.

As for the biting, put her away from you when she does it. For example if you are holding her and she starts to chew on you, put her on the floor, or move away from her or even put her in another room.

Cali has started to settle down a lot more now that she's 10 months old. She was a terrible biter and went crazy running all the time.

My 13-week-old is nuts, too. Sometimes he just gets a burst of energy and runs around the house like a madman. He is a biter/chewer and this has been bad (he does not respond to any of the popular forms of discipline). He actually will sink his teeth in deeper when you tell him no or try to get him to loosen his grip. He's also "sassing," growling at me when he does not get his way. Needless to say, we are off to puppy obedience class as soon as he gets his final round of shots. The vet told me to put him down when he is biting and ignore him. This takes repeated tries, but he does do a little better. I've actually put him in "time out" in his playpen a couple of nights in a row recently when he was just over-the-top bad. Three times each night. The third night he was less bad. He's very stubborn and willful sometimes -- is this a terrier trait?
