Default I am at the end of my rope...

I dont know what to do. Gidget who is going to be 2 in Sept. has been peeing all over...nothing has changed in our house/lifes so I dont know what the deal is. She is generaly good about peeing on the pee pads and sometimes misses but is right there so I let it fly and as far as pooping she wont go on the pad but she poops right by there in the same sopt so I let that fly too But now it is just getting crazy tonight she just peed right outside of the bathrooom while my son was going potty and then I noticed that she went to our room and then ran out so I went in to see what was up and she peed right on my new bed spread I have tryed everything....still to this day when I see her pee on her pad I tell her what a good girl she is and that but now I have had it and now when she makes a mess I have resorted to rubbing her nose in it and obviously it has no effect on her I dont want to get rid of her...not to mention it would make my son sad and our kitty too But I really dont know why she is doing this kinds of stuff or what I can do about it....it is all very agravating!

Well, it is very well known that rubbing their noses in the mistakes doesn't do anything as far as learning, if anything it creates a wall for building a trusting relationship. TThe advice I can give you use start to let her go outside and try treat training. Everytime you take her out say POTTY firmly constantly until you see her do what she is supposed to and give her a treat and praise alot. After a week she will get it and will do her thing just to get a treat. This is what worked for me. Now you must take her out every 3 to 4 hours otherwise they ahev no choice cause they can't hold it that long. I really pad training might not be the best because even if she intends to use it, it isn't being done properly and you end up having to clean and that's why you are getting frustrated.

i would say try reducing her free space , and ignore her mistakes ,praise her sucess.oh and i somehow think the peeing is also territorial marking thing even if its a girl doggie or boy they like tp show the cat lol She will get it , but yelling and being flustered only hurts you cause you love her, good luck ,,

Is she spayed ? If not it could be her coming into heat as they will go brain dead stupid when they start.
If she is spayed, then I would go with the advice of limiting her space. She is old enough to hold it for hours and pen her if you must and take her directly outside and wait till she does her business then TREAT and praise, praise , praise, she should get it in a week or two.
I have 7 females and everyonce in a while I swear the switch must turn off cause they do something dumb. But never so dumb as peeing on my bed ! I would be hard pressed to tolerate that and you shouldn't either. Keep her off till she learns right.. It may have been a retalition thing with her doing that. She may feel threatened by some one or something in the house. Has there been any changes by who or what is there ? There are a lot of things that can trigger this kind of behavior.
I probably haven't helped you but if you pick a pattern and stick to it , you should be able to get her to go where you want..The key here is to be the boss and make her go where YOU want , not where ever she choses.
