Default puppy classes starting today!

My baby just turned 4 months and is starting her puppy training class today! Its from 6pm to 7pm....

She already knows sit, wait, drop it, up, settle, this way, and kisses,
so I'm pretty sure she'll pick up the training well....

wish us luck!

it was fabulous! the instructor seems really knowledgable, and there is even another yorkie in the class named Lucy!

They started on sit today, which she mostly already knows, but it was good to work on it with distractions. I think she'll get a lot out of this class.

she was distracted by the other dogs, but thats part of the reason i wanted to take this class. she does a perfect sit when its just me and her but add people and she gets spotty and add other dogs and it goes out the window.

She seemed more distracted in the begining, but seemed to get used to them as the class wore on. The instructor was also super good about keeping dogs of different sizes in different areas of the room. she was sitting near a yorkie and a pug, so she didnt get overwhelmed with a big dog. She's still super spotty, but im hoping with the practice with distractions she'll get better.

How often do you take her? Did they teach you what to do at home to practice with her?

she goes once a week for 8 weeks. They teach you what to do at home, in fact they encourage you to practice every day at home.
