| Hi, My york is called Rex, my user name is Brittany29 because I live in Brittany and 29 is the department finistère. The big bodyguard (light brown in colour) is our Spannish dog we adopted in 2006, she came from the island Ibiza, she is a Podenca. We have a lot of associations in France to adopte these poor dogs who have a terrible life in there own country, she will be 11 or 12 this October. The white bodyguard is Tizh, he is our new boy, we had him from a puppy, he is a whippet and will be 2 this October. They all get on very well. I also have 4 elderly cats, the Mum siamese who is 17 and her 3 babies 16 yrs old. I did have 7 cats, but 4 yrs ago, lost mia from cancer she was 17 and half. Then last year, our adopted cat died of a ceribral haemorage, she was 18, then very sadly, Rex's real best friend, a big siamese boy who was only 12 walked up the stairs with me, gave me a kiss and just drop down and died, I tried everything, heart massage, mouth to mouth, but nothing, he was gone. I think this has unstabilised Rex as well and added to his confusion, as they were so close together, I did show him our Sammy when he was dead, I didn't want him to look for him, but I think he misses him terribly, just like us. I have posted some up to date news of Rex on the emergeny sickness forum, titled old dog crying early in the morning. Oh well, I suppose now I must go on another thread to give news etc, now have seen this works. bye for now, thanks for replying. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I love that they all get along well enough to sleep together. A very handsome pack!
