When it comes to words you can add the Type tool right on the picture. With graphics like a heart or any others you can use the tool and draw right on the picture its called custom shape tool which is right below the type tool. Once you choose the custom shape tool you ll see shape window on the top of the program Or did you want to change backround of the picture?

LOVE THIS THREAD!!!

I would LOVE to know how to change the background of the picture.

I know how to do the lasso or whatever to cut out a picture, but just know how to put it on a plain colored background.

I am still having trouble w/ adding another picture into a picture (layering)...aurgh...my head hurts!!!

oh you dont need to cut certain things in the picture. What you do you take a backround you want to use and make it just a little bit bigger then the picture. Then you need to use Clone Stamp Tool. Its in the menu where the blur tool is. Click on clone stamp tool and go to your backround photo click on the top left corner of the backround with that tool and then go to your original picture and start drawing around the subject creating the backround. This method is much easier then cutting the pic and transfer to the backround. Hope I was able to explain it

I have Photoshop and Image Ready that comes with it. There are a lot of different programs tho. So I guess it depends whichever you want to use

Oh with the layering I use Image Ready but someone mentioned here that you can do it in Photoshop using animation.

i think Photoshop its lil boring and difficult for making avatars...you really should try more simple prog for making this!Video Avatar its simple ,helpful tool without unuseful staff
