| Having CT - Please pray Knowing how powerful YT prayers are, I want to ask for prayers for myself. I am having a CT scan early tomorrow morning of the abdomen and pelvic area, and it also includes the veins. He is looking for diverticulitis but wants to make sure he is not missing anything else. The "anything else" also has me worried. I'm in pain and it won't go away. Thanks for your prayers.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I will pray for you as you go through this uncertain time. Just put all this into the hands of Jesus and know that He has this under control. We cannot do anything but trust in the Lord when trials come at us. He is our refuge and our strength and we will have great peace when we give it all to Him. There is nothing that can separate us from His love and care. You are so loved and in this life we will have tribulation but we are to be of good cheer for He has everything worked out for our good. |

| He's probably just wanting to see if there is evidence of a partial blockage or something like that adding to your pain. But all the same, I'll be praying hard for a good report that can diagnose you and direct him on the proper treatment to get you out of pain. Anytime we face serious tests, life gets suddenly very serious and scary, I know. I used to drive to work in Arlington and would regularly see several billboards in a row that advertised its product for times of celebration - such as job promotion, graduation day, team championship, etc., and the final billboard was "Negative test results". Let us know what the doctor says as soon as you can, please.

| My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope you get good test results and that you are soon free from pain. I had the same test two years ago, and although I continued to have pain, the good test results eased a lot of my fears.

| Well, the CT scan of my abdomen was uneventful. Showed Diverticulosis with no infection. So, I still don't know why I have abdominal pain. HOWEVER, the CT scan caught the lower part of my lungs. I have a 3mm nodule on my left, lower lung and scarring on the right lower. The guidelines say since it is below 4mm and I am low risk that no follow up is needed. My GP said he wants to order another CT scan in 6 months since this is the first time we are seeing this. I scheduled an appointment with him for yesterday and we talked about the nodule. I know there are many things that can cause them. When I read the report, though, only one thing came to mind. I don't even want to say it. So, please everyone say a prayer that it doesn't grow. If it doesn't then he will cut me loose from further testing. Heck, pray that it was a CT scan fluke!

| I am happy to hear your abdomen did not show anything that was not expected. Hoping you can get some relief from the unexplained pain you are experiencing. Regarding the lungs, my father has a small nodule in the bottom of one of his lungs and scarring from Valley Fever from when we lived in AZ. The nodule was found in late 2012 when he was in the hospital for pneumonia. His follow up scans have shown no change or growth, so the doctor said he is fine. Praying it will be the same for you.
