| Having MRI, requesting help from YT's Prayer Warriors PLEASE PRAY FOR NO STRESS FRACTURES! I have been having increasing pain, and weakness in my injured leg. My pain meds (hydrocodine 10's) aren't touching the pain and I don't sleep at night. Broke down and went back to my Bone Mechanic, Dr. Terrell, and he did xrays. He said the bones looked good, but I grumpy ole Arthritis has made a home in my ankle. Dr. T decided to schedule a MRI to rule out stress fractures. He also put me on a new med called Duexis (800. mg. of ibuprofen and 26.6 mg. of famotidine). It seems to be working, but it's too early to tell yet if my stomach will handle it. I've even gotten two decent night's sleep. I'm asking for prayer that I don't have stress fractures. If I do have stress fractures the options are meds and/or insertion of a rod. I went through the agony of the Fixator so that I wouldn't have metal in my leg. Many of you remember the story about the titanium plate sheering in half and me walking on a broken leg for 4 years. Anyway, I REALLY don't want to have yet another surgery on my leg. |

| Thank you Dyan and Teri. Your prayers are appreciated very much. I am hopeful that I don't but realistic enough to realize that I might. I just dread the thought of having to go under the knife again. |

| Cindy, I will keep you in my prayers that you do not have a stress fracture and will not require surgery. Glad you have gotten a couple nights sleep, and I hope your stomach can tolerate the new pain med.

| Love hugs and prayers....get an air cast and use it for a couple weeks. It can't hurt. Ask your dr about it. My brother used one for his when they suspected stress fractures, it helps him a lot.

| Praying fervently that you don't have stress fractures and that the news is good. You went through so much with that leg, you sure don't need anymore bad problems with it now. Besides that, you're too much of a sweetheart and one of the all around general "good guys" in this world to have bad problems. That would be totally unfair and just wrong of Life to toss you that kind of major problem now. Noooooooo! Hang in there strong and let us know the moment you get your results. Hugs and love coming your way!!!

Thank you Judy, bone pain IS difficult and nerve pain is even worse - I have them both. The new meds are helping - hope I can continue taking them. I believe in the miracle of prayer. Thank you! | ||
