| Thank you ...I was thrilled that that node was negative. That was really a concern to me. Bad enough I have cancer again, but to have it in the nodes when they have followed me so closely was concerning.

As for surgery, I would tell the oncologist and plastics doc to do whatever they want, as long they add a few procedures and make me look awesome like Cindy Crawford or Christie Brinkley head to toe. That's just me. May as well make the most of the trip to the OR. Kidding! I'm turning another year older next week. It hurt that the young man who helped me renew my license at the DMV had never heard of Cindy or Christie. At least he knew Gisele Bundchen. Maybe I would ask for the Gisele. Keeping you in my prayers for a successful surgery.

| Linda, I have been off YT a long time but when I saw this thread today I almost didn't want to read it, fearing what was here. Once I read it, I'm sitting here dumbfounded. Can't accept that you are going through this again in my heart. It should never ever be! But first thing came up in my mind is our gutsy, feisty, practical, plain-spoken Linda knocking the stuffing out of another C! The only thing I wonder if why the toughest, often the best, most giving, most accomplished around seem to get some of the toughest rows to hoe. I can't help but imagine you're tired of being tough that way and could use much more time off from all this medical stuff. Still, knowing you and way you stand up to adversity, when all is said and done, your foe is going down, never you. I'm praying and thinking only healing thoughts for you, Linda. ♥

| There are many reasons that God will allow as much suffering as you have been going through Linda.l know it is not easy and we say, Why Lord! Please make it stop. I just can't do this anymore. Sometimes it happens so that we can be a comfort to someone else who is going through the same or similar problem. Sometimes it can be to help us grow in our faith. Sometimes it can be used to get our attention on Him. He may be trying to speak to a person using this way. there are many other reasons. It does hurt to see our friends and loved ones suffering and we want to help them but we can only turn to Him in prayer and all of your friends here have been doing that and showing you their love and caring. How blessed are you. May God bless you richly as only He knows how and heal you. Blessings on you Linda.

| I had really missed seeing your posts, LadyJane. I was thinking about you for the longest time and was wondering if something had happened. Today I finally searched for you and found this thread! I'm so very sorry to hear that you are going through this (and a second time too). I read through all the recent posts and happy to hear the good news on the negative results! Yay!! I hope the worst has past and now, as Maximo has hilariously suggested, you can have some fun with the cosmetic doctors' work. Much love to you, your family, and your pups!!

| Thank you everyone. I have not had much time to focus on myself the past couple of weeks and really haven't been online a whole lot. Just to post here and there.... My sweet pup, Cookie is very ill. She has retrobulbar lymphoma and also probable cutaneous lymphoma. To say I am devastated is an understatement. I have wanted to post on her old thread...or even in sick and injured as her story/diagnosis actually is interesting BUT also makes me sick so I just don't have the strength to do it. I am taking it day by day; but she will be leaving me hopefully one day early as opposed to one day late. I will miss my crazy, lovable wild child.
