| Will keep little Suki in my prayers today. She is probably like my Toto, who is almost 8, way tougher than her Mom. I worry myself sick and she just eats the spoiling up! God bless you both.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | Well we're back. Poor Suki had to get two teeth pulled and she looks miserable. Poor baby, doc said her thyroid count is down also. He is hoping the infection in the tooth set it off but we have to get rechecked after shes done with the antibiotics. She has lost a pound and with a low thyroid she should be gaining. All the other bloodwork came back good, he checked her kidneys did a sonigram the works. Now if I can just get her to gain the pound back I would feel better. Dang I hate it when they dont feel good. I worry and fret so much. keep her in your thoughts for a few more days please. |

I learned something new this weekend. A thyroid screening (T4 and T3) will be low after the body has be stressed whether it be infection, etc. How you would get an accurate answer is to do a thyroid panel. Hope Suki is doing ok tonight

| I'm glad she is ok. Sorry she lost two teeth. That must hurt, but a decayed tooth would hurt worse. I'm sure she'll be feeling much better very soon. I know it's scarey to have them go under anesthesia when they're older. I worry just as much as you do. The waiting is awful! I hope she feels better tomorrow.
