| My friends husband is dying. She called me tonight to say the end is near. He has many health issues, and has for years. We all knew this day would come, and now that he is in his final few days, it is hard. We cried, and I just did not know what to say. I should of prayed with her on the phone. I didn't. They are believers , and believe in Heaven. Death is just hard when it is someone you love so much. He is in lots of pain and not himself at all. I think that is the hardest thing for her, to see him in pain and angry. So if you can pray for Carol and Ed, that would be a good thing!! |

| I'm so sorry to hear this.....I will keep them in my prayers. I hope that their belief in God and Heaven can bring them some comfort during this difficult time. I'll also keep you in my prayers...I can't imagine how awful it must be to see a friend going through this....you sound like a wonderful and supportive friend to them both. Thinking of you all xxx

| I'm sorry....but now that sometimes it isn't always necessary to say anything but to just listen and be there for her. I just can't imagine having to go through something like that-I hope I never have too. Prayers for Carol, Ed and you.

| That is terrible. I am so very sad to hear of your friend's heartbreak. Just be there for them as much as you can and let her know you will always be willing to listen for her. You and your friends' family are in my prayers.

| I will definately say a prayer for your friends. I know what a difficult time this is. Knowing you will be together again is a comfort, but losing them for now hurts so very much.

| As a friend I pray that you will be able to say what is needed and be available for your friend. I pray that your friend's faith will be of comfort to her during this difficult time. ~Joanne~

Thor's Human Donating Member | I'm sorry too. I lost my fiance some time back and it was by far the most devastating experience of my life. Quite honestly, I fear going through that again. The best advice I can give is to be there for your friend for a long time after this poor man leaves us. There is always a big flurry of sympathy for a few weeks/months, and then people go back to their own lives. You can be a true friend by sticking by her during this particularly hard time.

| I am so sorry to here this. My heart wrenches at the thought of losing any loved one , especially a spouse. I will keep all of you in my prayers. It's so hard to look at any bright side while all this is occuring but once God takes him his suffering will be over. Take care and God Bless!

| Quicksilver - Wow, thats a hard one for you to go through. Sorry for the pain of your loss. So sad. Sometimes life is just plain hard. I plan on being there for her for a long long time. We have always been close and honest friends with each other. There will be three of us, that I know of, that will be there for her. Her name is Carol (the widow), we used to meet once a month at a fun deli, just to keep up with each other. I see lots more of that in the future. She teaches at a University and has a busy career, I can do my best to show her how much I care. Again, everyone thanks for the comments and prayers. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You're a good friend and I'm so sorry he passed....QuickSilver said it so well - I know how much my friends....my real friends were when my husband died and to this day..... I won't forget them being there for me. Your friend will have a long road ahead and ups and downs ...but if he was suffering she'll realize one`day that he really is in a better place. But it doesn't help the awful raw feeling of losing someone you love .... I'm sorry |
