| Please pray for my husband My husband Harry is 42 years old and has lost 50 lbs in the past 3 months. He has a constant abdominal pain that turns into a searing pain that wraps around to his back about 20-30 minutes after eating. He suffers from diarrhea, fatigue, drops in blood pressure, nausea... He had a Nissen procedure in Nov. for acid reflux/GURD due to pain upon eating and weight loss. They automatically attributed the initial symptoms to GURD because he has suffered from it for the past several years. After his November surgery he was healing and doing well then all of a sudden, on New Year's Eve, the above symptoms began. The surgery was a success and has been ruled out from contributing to his problems. He has been to the ER several different times, been hospitalized for several days, and has been to Johns Hopkins all to no avail so far. He has had several CT scans, Endoscopys, a Colonoscopy, blood work, along with other samples, chest and abdominal x-rays...the list goes on and on. All came back normal except the last 3 CT scans have shown small spots on his liver that weren't there before but we were told it's just something to keep an eye on. We go tomorrow (today) for a test I've been begging the doctors for for the past 3 months...an endoscopy ultrasound of his pancreas. The doc is also going to check his lymph nodes while he is in there, just in case something may be spreading to his liver. I am frightened and we're praying that it is not the pancreas or cancer. We are running out of things that could be causing all these issues and the not-knowing tends to make the mind go to the dark place. I feel so bad for my husband. We bought him a recliner so he can sleep because he can not lay down. He is getting depressed and is unable to work more than 4 hours in a day and then takes several days to recupperate from that effort. My 4 year old son has no idea what is wrong with his daddy, and my daughter has been dealing with migraines that are debilitating. She has missed so much school the past few weeks due to them. The doc thinks it's from the stress of what is going on with her father. I am trying to keep it together but it is hard to watch the person you love fading away with no answer as to why.... Please keep us in your thoughts today as we pray for good news but we are also saying a prayer that God gives the doctors the wisdom to find out what is wrong. Please say a prayer for Harry...for all of us as we struggle to figure it all out. I apologize for the length of this post but needed to share...I am frightened. Thank you and God Bless.

| I'll be praying for your husband and your family. The good thing is that he's being checked out and not ignoring symptoms. Men are notorious for not paying attention when their bodies are trying to tell them something. Fingers crossed that you'll find out what's going on and it's something that can be treated easily.

| Gosh, how horrible. Its amazing to me that modern medicine cannot diagnose problems quicker than this. I pray that your husband gets results of some kind that make this something tangible to heal or fight. I hope that it's not cancer or his pancrease. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. (((HUGS)))

| You and your entire family are in my Thoughts and Prayers at this time. May it give you strength to know that others are pulling for your husband and for the Drs. to find out what has been wrong with him for so long. Hugs to the whole family and wishing your husband a speedy recovery from his surgery!! Blessings to all,

| Wonderful news Thank you all so much and God Bless every one of you....your thoughts and prayers mean so much more than you could ever know. It makes my heart swell to see so many praying for us and my family thanks each of you!! Today Harry had the endoscopy ultrasound of his pancreas and lymph nodes and from what the doctor was able to see, Harry is clean of any pancreatic or lymph node cancer...ALL the Glory belongs to God!! The doctor did take a biopsy but believes all is clean! All of Harry's symptoms were pointing to pancreatic cancer and with every other test that came back negative the possibilty of it being just that was increasing...but God had other plans and did not allow it to be so. Now it is back to Johns Hopkins for more tests but we are strong in the belief that now we know Harry can and will be healed. It is just getting to the answers of what is causing his weight loss, and other issues. In the meantime, we will continue to rely on prayers and the support from loving people like everyone here. We will also continue to praise Him, for allowing us many days filled with blessings, like today. Thank you all again and please keep the prayers coming! Today was a beautiful relief!! We look forward to answers and healing.... GOD BLESS!
