| My brother... Please pray for my brother. In the past five days my brother (14) has had three severe nose bleeds. Each one has lasted at least an hour or two. Today he his awfully tired and doesn't feel good. He's always had nose bleeds, but not like this before... We hope it's nothing too serious, just hard to deal with the dryness and changes in temperature causing the nose bleeds. Anyways, please keep him in your prayers that these will stop soon and he will be back to his old self again. Thanks.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Sorry to hear that..sending prayers. Could he possibly have some sort of pollip in his nasal passage. A friend of mine had that and they had to cauterize it...she was having the same problem your brother did.

| Prayers for your brother. I hope he has some relief from them soon. He can use a saline nasal mist to keep his passages clean and to add some moisture. It is sold in most stores and will help with healing. I had nosebleeds when I was a teen. I also had alot of sinus infections. It might take an appointment with an Ear/Nose/Throat doctor to take care of them. I go to an ENT Dr now and he takes good care of me.

| Prayer's coming for your brother and hope he just outgrows this problem. Has his blood pressure been checked? My son, growing up, also had severe nose bleeds. I took him to an ear, nose and throat specialist for years. There were times the doctor would cortorized the nose and that helped for awhile then they would start again. I think around his junior or senior year they stopped. Good luck to him. |

| His blood pressure is great. He's still having the bloody noses. The only thing that stops them is putting a cotton ball in his upper lip. The doctor suggested a humidifier in his room and to spray his nose with saline every 15 minutes. He said it's probably just the dry air. Hopefully they will stop within the next couple of days.

| I will add your brother to my prayers. All the suggestions below are very good. I too, suffered from sinus problems for years and have had sinus surgery a few years back. Now I am careful to keep the sinus passages clear with a Neti Pot and I also use the Saline to keep them from drying out. Hope your brother feels better REAL soon. |
