| I Need Some Prayers.. I am going to have surgery on my hand on Monday, Jan. 5. Well it will really be 2 surgeries in one. I have a condition called dupuytrens contracture. The dr. will go in a release the contractures in several of my fingers and the palm of my hand. At the same time, he is going to take a tendon out of my wrist and put it in the joint of my thumb to help relieve some of the pain from my arthritis. I will probably just be lurking for the next 6 weeks or so since I will not be able to use my right hand. I would appreciate any prayers you can spare. Thanks, Patty

| Patty, you are in my thoughts and prayers (always). I am so very sorry that you are having this problem. I looked at the surgery pics, and it doesn't look like much fun. But..... no pain, no gain. The pain is temporary and short lived the benefits you will reap from the surgery will be long lasting if not permanent. hugs and prayers coming your way |
