| You know we're praying for good test results! You're right-whatever they are they are, and then you will know how to move forward with her diet. But I know how much that stinks to have to WAIT! Let us know how things go-sending up positive thoughts and prayers for calm nerves for you and good test results for Layla!

| Marci... the vet may be just monitoring a previous high Lipase... this can relate to many different things.. or nothing abnormal. Remember tests, depending on the sample, could be erroneous ...as simple as an incorrect technique in drawing the specimen. Just hang in there and it may be absolutely nothing! I work in a lab and we have false positives on lots of different testing... which is why a lot of samples are repeated. Layla is such a beauty and if there is something amiss, the vet will treat it accordingly. Medicine has thank god come so far! Cheryl & Mandy

| Thanks everyone. Layla does have pancreatitis but i'm confident with the help of a nutritionist i'll be able to get her levels back down to normal i was lucky that i caught it early before any symptoms appeared. |
