On Wednesday we had to rush my mother to the hospital because suddenly she lost movement of her legs arms and mouth. When we arrived at the hospital we were informed that she had a mild stroke. They treated her but soon discovered that her red blood cell level was at 6.2 which I think average is 14. These are dangerously low and could cause heart attacks. After the tests came it showed that her body is not producing sufficient amounts of red blood cells and that they are too large. They think that her immune system instead of fighting against diseases it is fighting against her red blood cells. Today they did two blood transfusions and they are going to be injecting some B12 into her. From there on it may be a long road in treatment. They told us that if she doesn't respond to treatment she may need monthly blood transfusions or steroids

. The final tests come back tomorrow. I have been at the hospital since then but I had to come home today to feed Dino shower and rest up. I know the power of all of you YT members so if you could please keep my mother in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated.

I want to print this thread and take it to her because I know it would make her feel a lot better. She has been wanting to see Dino all this time, I may take him for a quick visit but I am not sure yet.

I am sending prayers!! You definitely need to take Dino for a visit. It will make your Mom feel better!! If you aren't allowed...sneak him in!!!

I am also sending prayers your way. Keep God in your prayers and mind. I can tell you from experience that miracles do happen. My husband died in the operating table in a simple procedure. They had to do an open heart surgery to bring him back. He was worked on by his cardiac surgeon and team for over 6 hours until they stabalized him. He was in ICU for 18 days and 16 of those days he was sedated and on a respirator. I was told that they didn't know what brain damage he would have when he would come to. I prayed and cried all those days along with a lot of family and friends. He is now doing great. The recuperation was long and he had a lot of complications but he is fine.

Please pray to whatever God you believe in and have a lot of faith. Nothing is impossible. If you'd like to talk PM me.
