| Calling Houston Yorkies!!!!!! Would any of you guys be interested in a playdate in the near future? Maybe we could meet centrally at Danny Jackson bark park on Westpark......or any other parks that you may have in mind. I like this park because it separates dogs by their size. Just wanted to throw this out there, I want Willow and Biscuit to play with some other yorkies and meet my fellow yorkie talkers! Let me know!!!! |

| What a cool idea. Although I have never heard of this bark park... Probably because I am on the NE Side (kingwood area)

| Here's a thread where we were trying to call all of the Houston Yorkies..... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77082 It's not titled "Houston Yorkies" so it might get overlooked but we were hoping to be able to meet up some time soon. There are quite a few Houston area people. This thread will probably get moved to that Regional section soon so hopefully people will see this one and get led to the other one.

| I think I might could do that date! Let's try to shoot for that day or someone else can shout out a different date and we can take a vote. And we've been talking about Millie Park (or whatever it's official name is). I'm coming from Brenham and have no idea where ANY of them are so it doesn't matter to me but the Millie one is closest to Villette and so that's the one we were discussing. All opinions wanted.....

| Great! We will hold that date tentatively and see what others think....I will bump this up from time to time. Do you know what side of town Villette lives? Danny Jackson is right inside the loop just south of 59, so it will be in the middle of everyone. Maybe we should vote on that too? I can't wait to see everyone and their babies!!!!!!! |

| Oh wow, I'm so excited...... I've been wanting this for so long. I'll be watching for updates. Now, nothing better come up on the family calendar for that day! Yes, looks like the only thing to decide is the location. Please try to keep it simple for us country folk (me and Tatum!LOL) who don't know our way around Houston, okay?? I'll be coming from Brenham on 290.

| I asked someone here at work that's familiar with Houston and it sounds pretty easy from my direction. We can still wait and see which location suits everyone and then make the final decision. I don't know how Houstonians deal with tolls all the time. We went to our daughter's track meet in Pearland last weekend and it was 10 bucks round trip just for the toll road. I have to drive 2 hours round trip every day to and from work in College Station but at least it's a straight shot of country road (but not TOO country that you can't drive 70-75 mph ). I would much rather do that kind of drive than the mess in Houston every day!
