Good Breeder in Texas? Hi all, I am beginning a search for another Yorkie to add to our family. (We already have one we LOVE!) Any suggestions for good breeders in Texas? We are in Houston but are willing to travel for good breeders! Thanks in advance!

How long are you willing to wait for your puppy? How much do you want to spend on your new puppy? I am asking simply because I have talked with about 6 people recently, wanting a yorkie......perhaps one could have been you?

We aren't in too big of a rush. We want to make sure we find the right breeder and puppy for our family. Honestly, it has been ten years since we purchased a yorkie to know what a reasonable price is anymore. We do value health and quality breeding and understand that comes with a price. I think I emailed and called you at the beginning of the year, but don't remember a response. (No hard feelings. I though maybe you retired.).

I highly recommend yorkies@easttex.com. Ann lives south of Longview, TX. We found her six years ago and after completing an application as if to adopt a child, she required a home visit to her kennel with the understanding that we might not leave with a dog. Needless to say this is the type of careful breeder you want. Her dogs have won multiple awards and are the perfect size and temperament. Contact her via email. I highly recommend. JT Dallas Area

We, too, are looking for a female pet. We recently lost one of ours and we loved having, too. We would prefer one about a year old, but would definitely consider a puppy.
