| Grain free feeding My little female has allergies to grains and her ears turn red and break out on the insides. She is on a grain free food and I found grain free treats as well. Was your Moms Yorkie a year old before she showed any symptoms? Cricket started at a couple of months. |

| I have heard from a breeder that the sugars in sweet potatoes and carrots create ear problems, so it may be best to avoid them in food and treats. |
