AWW!! what a cutie!! I am sorry to hear that you have to rehome her. I hope you find a good home for her. Is she spayed?? Maybe you could contact some of the yorkie rescue groups in the area. They will screen and make sure she goes to a good home. Kayla sure is a cutie pie!!

| Oh Tyra, I can't begin to imagine what you're going through making this decision. Hugs to you sweetie! If I had room I'd love to take her, she is such a sweet little girl. But I recently added a 4th to our home, and simply can't take on another. I will ask around and see if I can find anyone interested. I know how important a great home will be to you and I will be very picky who I ask. I'm assuming she is spayed and housebroke, right?

We must be pretty close to you. We go to that area all the time and stop into that Petsmart frequently. I also have 4 dogs, so cannot take another now. I wish you luck in finding a good home for her.

Thanks everyone for your support @ Fufufashions-thanks for the information about contacting a yorkie rescue I didn't think about them at first, but I will give that a shot as well @Twalla- I will reach out to your friend, I'm going to miss you and your fur babies @ TeresaM-she is not spayed, because she was my only pet, she is housebroken though very well trained she uses the potty pads faithfully, you're right this is hard, I love my baby girl Kyla. Thanks for your support--I'm going to miss you and all your fur babies and the meet ups Tyra

You said in your original post that you wanted to sell your dog for $500 firm. That would rule out a rescue group. If you wish to sell the dog, you would have to find someone in the area that would be ready to pay for her. I am currently living in McKinney and there is a limit of 4 dogs in McKinney. I have 4 dogs now. I will be moving to Frisco at the end of the month (just across the McKinney/Frisco city line). Frisco allows up to 6 dogs. I just am not in a position where I can pay for the dog at this time. Our move is taking all our extra money right now. I cannot imagine parting with my babies, no matter what the situation. We moved down here from Nebraska a year ago and it wasn't an easy move, but I think the dogs actually handled the move better than us humans! If you cannot find a home for her and end up deciding to give her away (rather than keeping her or selling her), let me know. I'll see what I can do. My dogs are: Lilly (2 yr old Maltese), Maggie (2 1/2 yr old Yorkie), Ginger (8 yr old Yorkie), and Lady (10 yr old Yellow Lab). They all get along great too! Good luck with whatever you decide. I understand that you need to do what you feel is best for you and also for your dog.
