| Any recommendations for boarding dogs? I am planning a trip this summer and I need a place for my 4 dogs to stay for a week. Any recommendations in the OKC/Moore area?

| I would suggest that you don't board them but get a petsitter to come to your house to stay. When you have 4 dogs it is cheaper to get a sitter to come & stay then to take them to a kennel. They will be able to be in their own home and eat their own food. It's much better on the dogs. I took my dogs 1 time to a kennel over 15 years ago and they came back without a bark because all they did was bark all day!! It broke my heart! Now I have 8 dogs, 6 chickens and a pond full of Koi fish so I definitely use a sitter, she charges us $60 a day and she sleeps at the house and takes care of the house & all the animals. She works at a Pet & Feed store, so she even brings them home more toys & treats.

| I was going to say a dog/house sitter too. Do you know anyone that you'd trust to "live" in your house while you're away?? I house sit a lot in my area and it's so much better for the dogs/pets. I charge $30 a day and recently learned that I am charging way too little for the area I live in. Most of the houses I sit for are multi-Million dollar homes. You'll also have peace of mind knowing your pets are well cared for.

Our sitter charges $20/ visit plus $3 for each extra pet. When I am away I have her four times a day. I bet my whole place fits in the bathroom of a multi million dollar home- LOL! Agree on looking for a sitter though!

| I don't really know anyone who I could trust in my house, plus my husband doesn't like people in our home while we are away. Are there businesses that have in home pet sitters? I would like to have someone come into the house so they don't have to go anywhere but I am not sure if that would work for us.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | You could ask the vets office if they know of anyone who pet sits in their own home instead of yours. I have 4 and fortunately my adult dtr comes and stays with them and then I pay my nephew to come in at noon time and check on them. Good luck.
