| Honey I'm home!!!!! Ok we've landed in Texas, Murphy to be exact. Looking for a great groomer and a vet in our area. I've done my freeway, get lost and almost smushed experience on the I - whatever in Forth Worth. I am somewhat traumatized still so please make sure it's not far from where I am. I have no sense of direction and am starting to drive my mom nuts when we are driving and she asks me which was to go, I'm always wrong!! LOL I need a GPS tracking inserted into my arm and a navigation buddy. No I did not bring the snow with me either.

| Welcome! For groomers, I've not taken my baby to them yet, but I have stopped by their place and talked to the owners and will definitely be back. The place is called Classy K9 Cuts and TeresaM recommended them; she takes her babies there (Gracie Ruth and Yogi). I've been taking my baby to the Perry SPCA clinic in McKinney for his well check ups and shots. They're great and inexpensive, you can find their pricing on their website. I recommend making an appointment, though. Their phone number is (214) 742-7722. They're a little north of 121 east of Custer. A friend of mine volunteers at the Collin County Humane Society and she says they take all their rescues (many, many toy breeds) to Dr. Charles "Chuck" Blonien at Parker Animal Bird and Clinic in Plano. They seem affordable and also have great reviews online. Their address is 2129 West Parker Road Plano, TX 75023-7735 Phone (972) 985-0036. I've only driven by there but plan to take our baby there if/when we need to. Hope this helps and again, welcome to Texas! |

| Thanks, she referred me to the same groomer and I have an appointment for Wednesday. Need to get heartworm and i don't like the vet my folks use so I'm looking around. I got some revolution before I came to start them out. I am surprised there was a vet in WA that had any heartworm. I don't want to use revolution though. We did stop by mom's vet and they refused to give me sentinal? sentinel? until they did a heartworm test. They want $31 for the test and like $60 for the meds. maybe get heartguard. crap...i have no idea

| I have just heard and read a lot of bad things about it. The couple vets here that I have talked to refuse to sell it. *shrugs* in all honesty I think it's just a personal choice

| Welcome to Texas! I hope you learn to love it here, but you need to get out of the city to really get the flavor of the state. I live 300 miles away from DFW so I can't really give you any advice. |
