| College students I'm a college student at OU and I know there are hundreds of colleges in this area, anybody else a college student? Just curious since school is almost back in session. Wondered how everybody dealt with spending time with their babies during busy school times?

| Well, I'm no longer a college student but I am working at "the other Oklahoma school" (OSU for those not in the know) while my husband finishes up his Masters. Days here at work have been absolutely insane because so many new students wait until the day before school starts to apply!! Then, of course, they all get upset when I can't do things NOW. So...for me, this makes my little girl even more important to me. She's the one "person" who is always excited to see me after a hard day at work and she just makes it impossible to be in a grumpy mood when I come home. You can't look at that cute furry face and wagging tail without smiling. -C

| I am no longer a college student However, I am now a teacher and so I have similar hours as I did in college. My husband is getting his masters and has crazy hours still. We just spend any time that we can with her and take her with us every chance we get! I also try to take as much stuff as I can home so that I can get home asap to my sweet little baby! It is such a hard adjustment every fall after we have spent the entire summer together |

| I know, I hate leaving him for so long when school starts after spending so much quality time together during the summer. I take him to the park as soon as I get home or take him to campus and sit outside with him while I read or study.

| Recent Graduate I totally agree with the previous posters... One thing that I did try to do to minimize the amount of time I spent away from Bella was schedule my classes relatively early and back to back. This way I was able to go to class...study directly after class...and then get back home to Bella. I also tried to have consistency with my scheduling (ie I left for class at about the same time and returned home at the same time - or as close as possible) so that she was able to remain on a pretty decent schedule. I also spent a lot of time taking her on walks. And whenever I would study or visit friends she would go with me (stealing all of the attention of course ). I hope all goes well for you this semester!

| I am!!! I am a college student at the University of Utah in Nursing. I have little to no time for anything. I try to study at home with my puppies to keep them company. Its hard but between my husband and I are puppies are almost always around somebody. I try to take them everywhere I can so they aren't home alone as well. Good luck with school!!!
