| 2 Yorkies in Shelters DFW Hello, So we adopted a cat yesterday from the Dallas SPCA and as we were leaving a lady was surrendering a yorkie. He was adorable. Very small. Probably 6 or 7 pounds. Also the Irving animal shelter has an adorable yorkie available as well. Here is the link to the Yorkie in Irving Adopt 6139 RayRay - Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Dog The one at the SPCA isn't posted yet. Probably because it was just brought in. I have 2 yorkies and now a cat of my own so I have my hands full or I would have offered to take them. I don't know the shelters policies on how long they keep their animals so hopefully someone will adopt them soon. I know there are many Yorkie lovers on this website looking for another Yorkie to love. Why buy from a breeder when there are many Yorkies in shelters that need to be rescued. Hopefully a loving YT member can adopt these babies. If so, keep me updated. Thanks Micah |

| How can anyone surrender their yorkie to the shelter? It's just beyond my comprehension....poor dog. I hope he gets a home quickly. He must be so scared and confused
