I don't know whether to bathe them before we come to the meet up & put on the revolution or do all of that AFTER the party when they are probably going to get pretty dirty I want them to be protected from any fleas that might be lurking out at the park.
My concern is Candy since she hasn't had any flea protection put on yet. I think my other girls are still covered from the Feb. application but Candy could pick up fleas since it is a public place.
If they get dirty at the park, i won't be able to bathe them for a week
I just don't know what to do. I hate to bring them all dirty . What is everyone else going to do??? I have a feeling they are all going to be filthy when we get out of there!
We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!!!
I have been to the parks lately and haven't encountered any fleas and I have my new baby who isn't on any flea treatment as of yet. But I have one question I know that when you put on Frontline or meds of these kinds you should not put them on the same day as you give them a bath as it won't be as effective. The instructions always say to wait 3 days after you bath them to apply medicine and you can bath 3 days after treatment has been applied. Is it not the same with Revolution? I have never used it.

I was thinking on bathing my baby for the only reason that I haven't bath him in almost 2 weeks because I just put his flea treatment on Monday so I didn't bath him this past Sunday(normal bath day for us). But if you think she will get dirty and then it will ruin the whole purpose of the treatment bring her without a bath and give her a bath as soon as she gets home and give her the flea treatment. I hope this helps you make a choice.

Hi! The revolution doesn't have that same 3 day restriction and can be put on right after a bath. I know the other treatments say to wait 3 days before and after. I think the revolution is fine after 3 days to bathe them too but i never have since that stuff is so darn expensive and i don't want to risk washing any of it off!
i think i'll bathe them all today so they will be smelling good for a few minutes before they roll in whatever they find out there! LOL! i'll just put the treatment on SUnday after ANOTHER bath!!
We are pumped about tomorrow! I have made the girls matching outfits with their initials on the back.

Oh ok. I learn something new everyday.

Your girls are going to look so pretty in their matching outfits. I think the majority will be jealous because of their matching outfits (including myself )

I bathed Lacy and Rylie Wednesday night so they'll be pretty clean. If I were you, I'd bathe afterwards and put the flea meds on then. You can always buy capstar pills for the day for each of them. They are cheap and kill any fleas within 30 minutes and the pill lasts 24 hours. It's a pill that is safe to be given every day. Actually, now that I think about it...I may go get a couple in the morning and give them to Lacy and Rylie just to be safe.

I had been thinking the same thing these past days. I've never been to it so don't know how it looks. But I'm guessing somewhere in the small dog section or maybe by the pool.

I think there was mention before about birthday treats and maybe a cake? I just wanted to let you all know that Lacy is treat aggressive. So if any treats are going to be given, please give me warning before so I can pick her up and give her a treat away from the other dogs. She's usually really good otherwise and normally gets along fine with other dogs...but NOT when treats are involved. So please just let me know before you get the treats out

Can't wait to see pic's, Yorkiecrazy always takes the best pic's. Wish me and my crew could come, but it is my sisters b'day, and it is a 2 hour trip for us. Hope you all have a great time. Max you have a great birthday. See you all next meet-up.

I talked to V tonight. She said she's definitely gonna try to make it. She has a few things she has to do, but the 1:00 time sounds good. Yippee! I sure hope she makes it.

Maddie-Rudy-Mom ; so sorry you're not going to make it. I enjoyed talking to you at one of the other meetups. Have fun with your sister on her b-day.

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. And mryorkiecrazy better get some goooood shots. No pressure for him, uh? lol.

Hmmm, I will be bathing and treating for fleas as well. If they get dirty again they will have to go through another bath. Hopefully the flea protection will still be active? It's the best I can offer.
Can't wait to see all the cutie yorkies and meet the yters!! that I haven't met.
