Tatum and I might be able to make it on the 15th. We went to the last two and it was really nice to meet up with the others. Both of those parks are maybe a little under 2 hours away for me but it was worth the trip. The only thing about that date is that it's during Spring Break for most people and that might affect who is around to make it. That would be the only thing stopping us - if we decide to take the kids somewhere - but if we can get a few to agree on that date, I will certainly try to be there.

And thanks for posting on the other forum. I always forget to come check out this one. I'll try to remember to bump it up again later so it doesn't get lost. And yes, Erin...... if you still have the list of names that you contacted last time, that would really help. I know each time people mention after the fact that they missed it because they didn't see the thread.

My husband and I have been to this park. We think it's a bit nicer than the Millie Bush park. It's across the street from the Houston Farm and Ranch.
I also think it will be a bit closer and easier to get to for most everyone.
We will definitely be there no matter what date. LOL.

If you all decide to go to this park, I will do what I can to make it too! As long as I have enough advance notice, I will for sure make that roadtrip!

Either park will be fine. I thought the Millie since I know that was were we met last time but that new park (Congressman Bill) does seem nicer and has more space. I picked March 15 because it just came to my mind but if its better to be moved one week after that is fine. The more members that are able to attend the better.

I just really want to celebrate my baby's b-day with other members. As its his first and I want to have some pics of it. And I would like to get to know you all in person. So lets get this baby planned.

This park sounds nice. I would definitely like to go to a meet-up in Houston, it would be about a 1 1/2 hr. drive for us. I bet MyFairLacy and Layla's Mom would like to go also.

I'm glad you would be willing to make the drive to meet-up with us. Well if you can inform them of this that would be great. The more people the merrier!!

I would love to go but that's my spring break and I'll be 6 hours away from there. I'm not going home for Easter so we're having "Easter Dinner" that day with all our family coming over. I wish it was another weekend I'll try to make the next one

I've noticed that alot will not be able to make the meet-up as its spring break and have already made plans with family. Since this is a democratic country and the people have spoken the new date is March 22. If all that will be able to make it please post on here so that we can get a list going of all that will be attending. Also if you know anyone that is not aware of this that you know would love to come to the meet-up please let them know. Hope to hear back from all of you. Max is waiting anxiously to find out who will be there cause he wants to make tons of friends.

I'm glad y'all are thinking about changing the date because Gayla (Layla's Mom) can't go on the 15th either. But the 22nd is Easter weekend, I don't know how many people will be able to attend. There is also a dog show in Ft. Worth that day, I know Michele (MyFairLacy) and Vicki (Bleu Boy Barber) are planning on going to that. Then the Navasota dog show is on the 29th, myself, Gayla (Layla's Mom), Michele and maybe Vicki will be attending that one. Is March 1st not good for anyone?

Well, we would be able to make ANY weekend date, Sat or Sun. But, we completely agree - the more the merrier!
Would an early birthday meetup for Max be possible???

How about everyone posting those weekend dates they would be able to make? That way, we could figure out the date likely to have the largest turnout?

Oh - and is it agreed that the Bill Archer park would be the easiest for most to find and get to?

Default Dates in March

Well, it looks like the 1st is the only date we here in Bryan/College Station can make a March meet-up.

Michele will be out of town on the 8th & 15th, Gayla can't make it on the 15th either, the 22nd is Easter weekend, and the 29th is the dog show in Navasota.
