Daisy will LOVE Sam then! We'll have to make sure they "meet". Sadie had finally had enough of being chased the other day ("Could you please leave me alone long enough for me to pee???) that she became the chaser. An unusual turn of events, but it did happen.

I have met Angi before - and her son and her other yorkie... but Sophie hadn't had all her shots yet and was too young to go to that meetup. So I didn't get to meet Sophie then. I have to now.

Besides.... Angi's the one who hooked me up with Bogey. I'm not sure whether she's met Bogey yet either - if so, it was before I got him.

And I'm sure Rocky appreciates Bogey the most... NOT! But Bogey sure likes Rocky.

He's been doing good. Very good.... I don't remember if I told ya'll about Bogey's annual checkup or not. The vet felt his back legs, then his front legs. He made a funny face and felt Bogey's back legs again, then his chest and stomach... then he went back to Bogey's back legs again... Hubby and I were getting sick after what we'd been through with Pixie knowing that something was drawing the vet back to Bogey's back legs...

Finally, the vet goes, "Well, he's a muscular little thing, isn't he?!" Relieved, we were going "What?"

The vet asked whether Bogey has been working out - we told him yes, kinda. The vet asked what he's been doing - benchpressing? We said yes, kinda. Then we explained that Cinnamon went into heat... then Jubilee went into heat... and he's gotten a lot of exercise.

Both are out of heat now... Cinnamon successfully. She also got fixed. Jubilee wasn't so successful. Believe it or not, Bogey let us down. We kept Jubilee isolated for about 3 weeks, then we turned her loose in the house, watching carefully. Bogey left her alone. For two whole days, he wouldn't even LOOK at her (though he'd hump on Cinnamon).
Then Jubilee begged to go outside with Preston - we decided she's been around Bogey and he's not interested (and anyone who knows Bogey understands what that implies). So we let Jubilee out with Preston. Jubilee and Preston have babies due the beginning of May.
We are blaming puppies on Bogey. I don't understand why the horndog wasn't humping the fertile dog in heat. He wasn't interested at ALL. Never did mount her. If he'd shown interest in her, we'd have kept her isolated for a few more days.

Of course they won't! I would bring Cinnamon, but I don't think it's going to be feasible. She doesn't do car rides so well, and I'll be going through Arlington to pick up my best friend... Cinnamon can't handle that long of a ride. I will have Pixie and Bogey though.

Thanks guys!!! We are excited. We will be freshly bathed and ready to play. Momma says that dont make much sense but she dont want us being "nasty" when we meet everyone.

Yes, Kris (Lopsi) holds Sophie first... she has waited a LONNNGGG time for it. Then apparently Twalla wants her...BUT at some poit she will have to give her up b/c Sophie is gonna need to meet her boyfriend, Bleu!!

Your right Rocky does not appreciate Bogey, but last time we saw you Bogey really did not bother Rock. Bogey has gotten so much better with his manners since you rescued him. You have done a great job with him.

I remember the first time he tried something with Sadie. She'd never been exposed to that & gave him a little snarl. When he tried to come back, she growled again, as if to say, "I SAID NO! NO MEANS NO!!!" He left her alone after that. Didn't you say it was something he likes about the light colored ones? Seems like he always left the black ones alone.

That's true... And Cinnamon's White... Jubilee's black. Maybe thats why he didn't try? Silly boy.
