I would love to have a Alabama meet up. I have always lurked on this board.. I am a member of a couple yahoo yorkie groups but I have never posted here.
I live in Millbrook and have one Yorkie named Ella. She is so stinking cute.. I would love to get together for a playdate...
BTW I am a member of a group called YorkieSouth on Yahoo.. it has members from stated in the south but as of now I am the only Alabamian. If you want come check us out.

I am also in Alabama - Dothan. I am also on Yorkiesouth. Where are you located in Alabama? I think most people are around Birmingham.

My daughter graduated from Northview in l989 - Pagelea Howard. Also, had a couple of cousins graduate there - Kim or Kris Watson? I have lived in Dothan all my life. Grew up here. Good talking to you. Would love to meet
Ella. I live about 1 1/2 miles from Northview, just off Westgate.

I'm in Selma, Al & have a daughter in Troy at school. My sister here also has a yorkie. There are a few others from Ala. on Yorkietalk & would love to plan a meet.

Well shoot ladies.. lets plan one.. When and where???

I would think Montgomery or Birmingham would be a good choice. It would depend on who all is coming and from where.

There are a couple of events we can plan around too.. In October the Alabama National Fair will be in Montgomery and there is Oktoberfest in Birmingham... if you would like we could even do a little vacation by going to Panama City, they have a Jazz by the bay festival in October too...

The only reason I suggest October is because it will be cooler outside.. (thank heavens) and October gives us a little bit of time to make plans...

What do you think?? Any takers??
