| Any Breeder Recommendations in TN? Middle TN, preferably, but I don't mind driving if that's what it takes to get a healthy Yorkie pup. I'd like (so very much) to find one whose price range is $400-$600, but I figure that's pretty rare. I've been looking in the classifieds and am tempted to call some of the numbers, but I don't want to end up going to a puppy mill or something. Anyway, any help is appreciated! |

Unfortuantely, Bouncer's breeder moved to FL and I don't know of anyone here I'd reccomend. The best thing you can do is call and GO VISIT. Don't go with the intention of buying, don't even take any money, check, card, NOTHING so you won't be tempted. Just go and ask to see where the puppies are, the parents, check the place out. You'll know a puppy mill or a bad breeder when you see one. Check bloodlines, whatever it takes. I turned down three or four, maybe more than that, breeders before I got Lotte from a WONDERFUL lady (wnalegria on the forum here) in Indiana.

| Have you tried calling your vet's office for recommendations? That is where I first started and then "weed out" the bads ones from there. Good luck. I know a few breeders here in west TN that are around that price range but they are CKC registered. Yorkease
