| did you see this on the news? On channel 5 news tonight 10-20-06 there was a news story about a woman in Hendersonville, Tn Sumner county age 69 that had 400 dogs on her property. Needless to say a neighbor turned her in for running a puppy mill they said she had all the small breeds, I saw a couple of poms that they brought out in cages and they look looked clean and healthy but the people doing the raid had on "spacemen suits" the story said the dogs were not available for adoption yet because of an on going investagation. How do you have 400 dogs?? didn't she EVER SELL ANY??? |

My furkids Donating Member | How in Gods name can you give attention to 400 dogs!!?? not to mention bringing them to the vets and feeding them? As I said in another post...I feel even if you are a breeder you should only be allowed a certain number of dogs...Unless you have help, I can't see how they can be taken care of properly... I have a good friend that used to breed Bernese Mountain Dogs (she also showed them). In the town where we lived you were only allowed a certain number of dogs and believe me!!! If someome complained the town was there to check it out and WOULD make you obey the rules or would shut you down but, this was a small town also. I just feel so bad for those poor animals.

| Poor puppies! How does someone in their right mind think that they can correctly care for 400 puppies?! That's nuts! I hope the puppies go to loving homes.
