| Do not buy from a PET STORE! Try to find a breeder! Pet Stores sell "puppy mill" dogs and that is why they have no idea about size! PLEASE PLEASE do your homework!

| Very good advice, however there are brokers that pass for being a breeder . You have to really research. I thought Seaside Yorkies got their puppies from a breeder. And a "breeder" is a good thing. For all I know they are backyard breeders or puppy mill brokers. |

| BROKERS in my opinion, are the LOWEST! They are the ones that truly keep the Puppy Mills in business by finding them places to sell their dogs to! If you haven't gone to the house and have seen the dogs including the parents! FORGET IT!

| I just got a female Yorkie from Seaside Yorkies Miami I am so worried after all these posts I read after getting my 12 week old female yorkie from Seaside Yorkies in Miami the other day! SHE SEEMS fine, healthy. Was scratching a LOT, so I switched her cheap food "pedigree" they had her on to Nutramax. I met with "Billy Jean" who said she was David Davidlow's wife. I also met David. He was a little rude. He microchipped the pup right in front of me and was callous about her being in pain.;/. He did not seem like a compassionate person, my take on it is he seems to me he does it for the money. Billy Jean was polite and we talked a while, but she could have been lying. I asked to see the "sire" or father of the yorkies. She told me the father was a "Stud" they use and its' not there. Then showed me the mother, but I don't know if it was really her. Now I am worried. I weighed this pup when I got home she is almost 5 lbs at 12 weeks. Billy Jean told me she was 2.5 lbs. BIG difference! Also David said he "Misplaced" The CKC papers and will reorder them for me will have them in 10 day or so!? THAT was unprofessional. Not sure if he scammed me on that part, but I've herd that one before. This pup is cute and has good coloring. Just looks like she is going to be big when full grown! My two old yorkie is having trouble getting along with her. He's hiding, withdrawing, etc. Hopefully that gets better! Who knows. |

| Hello everyone , I just got my very first puppy and its from seaside yorkie ! since this was my first puppy I wanted to meet him her in person and was looking for months to find a breeder in miami beach and came across their website. Upon search , I found few very bitter reviews about them so was very skeptical at first. So i called them to see if I can get to met the puppy I was interested in and his parent if possible. The owner's name is Joel ( elderly guy ) and his super awesome wife Billy Jean invited me to their home and I was very glad that I listened to my gut feelings and gave it a shot. They were by far the most coolest and compassionate people I met , they not only helped me through the whole process of getting him but went to the extend of keeping him for a week to switch the food I plan on feeding him. Jasper ( my new puppy ) is 3 months old now I got him checked with my own vet of choice to get a 2nd opinion on his health condition and to verify all claimed shoots given and he is a perfectly healthy fellow !! I was so glad that I went by there and saw how they live , breath and just love all their pups , they were all kept inside their home in a cozy setup, I guess good enough for puppies. They were pretty old school and proud people, don't know or seem to care much what goes on the internet much as most of their business is referral.I am very happy with my boy Jasper and also feel lucky to know such good people . They very much kept in touch with me and asked me to call them anytime doesn't matter what time if I ever had any concern , now how many business does that ? over all I had a great experience and would definitely recommend them. If you are in Miami , just go there yourself and meet them in person, you will know what I was talking about. But must worn you Joel at first appears to be a grumpy a bit arrogant man just once you spend few minutes with him he gets his guards down . The man just takes lots of pride in his work and have a very dry sense of humor like the New Yorker ) but he is from the south Was never big on writing reviews , actually this is my first online post ever so hope this information helps ! |

| I am a bit confused. If they don't care about the Internet and get their customers via referrals why the website? Also, no reputable breeder of any sort will ever sell via a third party such as a pet store or broker. We do not even sell each others dogs as reputable breeders. If someone contacts me looking for a Yorkie and I don't have anything I give them some names of breeders I do know and would not hesitate to recommend. Exactly what reputable breeder would trust someone else to sell one of their puppies? Besides none! |

| Hi Lorraine, I was just only sharing my honest experience and that's all because I was thrilled to have Jasper and it happened to be from the place that someone on this page was inquiring about . To the best of my knowledge , they are the breeder and don't supply to any pet store as I got it from them directly not from any 3rd party. What I came to learn from them , that they have been selling and breeding yorkies for 20 years ( he actually showed me a file cabinet full of sales record when I questioned him regarding the bad reviews . After selling puppies for 20 years if a business gets only few bad reviews thats quiet an impressive ratio. I am a very rational person and like to state my voice against unfair reasoning so gave my honest opinion based on what i physically experienced not based on what I heard or read. I even advised the person who was inquiring about this place to go and visit them personally not to even go by my word as I strongly believe opinion should be based on ones personal experience not just by word of mouth. I felt they were good people who also happens to give me the best gift of life Jasper ! so based on my experience they deserves nothing but good words Best wishes Silvi |

| Thank you for sharing your experience with seaside yorkie. I also met Joel and his wife this weekend and they are beautiful people. I Placed a hold on a beautiful female yorkie . I played with the 3 yorkies and saw the mommy. They have been breeding for 20 years and they will be giving me all the health records when i pick up the puppy. I will take her also to my vet make sure she is healthy. I am also a little nervous since my older yorkie passed away last year from liver failure she was 11 years.. I pray that my new puppy comes healthy. I will keep you all posted. Please anyone that can share more let me know. Thanks |
