New Yorkie Mom Hello All!! I am a new Yorkie mom and instantly have 4 yorkies!! I have a 2 yr old boy 2.9 lbs and 3 girl pups. The girls are sisters and approximately 3 months old, but no relation to the boy. When I got them, I originally was getting JoJo (the boy) and one girl. Unfortunately, the breeder was no longer going to breed yorkies so she was selling them all. A lady came and bought all of her breedable age dogs. This terrified me that these babies would be going to a puppy mill so I bought all of them. I know spontanious decisions are bad, but my fear overwhelmed me. Anyway, back to business..... Yorkies are new to me. I have a shih-tzu and maltese, so now I am learning about Yorkies!!! Any advice will be greatly appreciated!! Also, I live in Bainbridge, GA and if you live near me I would love to hear from you!!!

Welcome...you're not alone having multiple yorkies. They're like potato chips, can't just have one! lol. They are loving, loyal playful dogs. I would watch the pups for hypoglycemia--and feed them nutrical if their gums are white, or appear to have low blood sugar. Focus on good training habits, so they know you're boss. Otherwise, the girls might end up in a power struggle...and ENJOY!

I am also a new Yorkie Mom. I got my Daphne 3 weeks ago and my life will never be the same. I love her to death. She was 2 lbs when I bought her. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. I also have 3 big labs who play with her. She doesn't know she is a tiny thing. She plays with my cats and is curious about the horses. Potty training is challenging, but we are making progress.

| Yorkies!! The best breed of dog I've ever owned! I don't have multiples, but I envy you. I have one. My husband was not really open to my suggestions to have another. So...Copper is my baby. Only suggestion I have is be consistant on the potty stuff They get it eventually, but it takes a long time. A lot of them aren't 100% on it even after being trained. Copper is going to be 2 next month and I would say he is about 98%. Only once in a great while we have an accident. Then...just love them!! Best wishes.

Congratulations Welcome to you and your new Yorkie family. It sounds like your life is going to undergo some major changes with four new furkids. You did such a wonderfull thing, opening your home and heart to all three pups to ensure that they would have a happy healthy home. We are nearly neighbors - I live in Rome.
