Like for instance: If you treat them like a baby doll and dress them up from day one do they ever really get used to it? I keep buying outfits for my son's dogs but they mostly hang in the closet. I switched to toys because they get some use, but I was wondering if anyone else gets any use out of their "pet-wear."

I've been dressing Mr. Biggs almost his entire life. He loves it! He literally gets so excited to see me pull out his clothes. And he lays down on the bed like a baby for me to put on his pjs!

Okay, based on Chatoyant's post with her personal experience these are some of our choices.

Any other recommendations? What does everyone think?

Phew ....at least I won't be the youngest one there now! lol. I'm 24 and I'll be bringing my BF who is 28 and my friend who is 20. We'll definately have a good mix of ages there!

The first one looks nice, but it only has one bench

The second one sounds nice...but from looking at the pictures on the site, it looks like it has just mulch and no grass

Ugg, you're right! Mills Slough has only one bench- that wont work. What are they thinking? West Orange sounds so good but it does look like mulch.

I don't know if mine would even walk on mulch.

I don't understand Fleet Peepels not allowing unleashed dogs on weekends. It's a dog park for crying out loud! I was leaning towards that one since it's been suggested twice but then I read that silly rule.

Yeah...Mr Biggs will walk on mulch....but it tends to get stuck to him.

I was thinking of we went to Fleet, some of us could bring beach chairt or any kind of folding chair. I know I have 2 that i could bring... or a few of us could bring sheets to lay out in a poop free area. LOL

Do you mean Mills Slough? Fleet was the one that said no dogs off leash on weekends. You're right, it could work if we all just brought chairs.

OKAY...I am just catching up but I say we go to either Mills or West Orange.

I have chairs too I can bring so I think that should be fine since it only has one bench.

Also I THINK (not sure ...but THINK) the West Orange park is covered in leaves from those trees not mulch. Who knows it could be mulch but I thought from the pictures it looked like leaves.

Has anyone been to either one and could offer advice on which park to pick out of these two?

I think Chatoyant has been to both. Maybe she'll come back and fill us in.

Oh Oh Oh!!!! Reesee wants to come!!! I have been to Downey park and there is a fenced in area for the little guys. You do have to take a couple of steps through the big dog area in order to enter so I would suggest holding the pups while you go through but thats it. Anywhere you decide to go we would like to join you

I have heard the one in Kissimmee is in a rough area, that is what I read on the net. There is a new one in Dr. Phillips that seems like it would be great as well and A LOT closer to the Tampa folks.
