| Does YT have a min. age limit? Just a comment about something I have noticed... Lately, it seems like a few really young (I'm guessing under 14 or so) have joined. Does YT have a minimum age limit to register? IMO, if I was a parent (And I'm not saying it's right that the parent isn't monitoring as well as they should), I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be with my child on her talking about dating, sex, etc. with (mainly) adults.

| I don't know....but..I don't think they should..not all teenagers are immature. Maybe like nine out of ten but not all. |

| well, the one that is writing about all her boy troubles is only 13 and none of her other posts about anything have made any sense at all. Now because i responded to one of her threads with one sentence, she is pm'ing me. i have had to ask her to stop. i have followed a lot of her posts and thought it was a mentally challenged person until I realized it was a child. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I think it could possibly be a good idea to have an age limit. |

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Hi there. I think as well is a really good ideea to have an age limit on this site, at least like that I won't have to be the bad witch that tells my partener's son(12 years old) that he's not allowed on this site. LOL

| I noticed this young lady too....I don't think she's posted anything that is yorkie related....it's all about her relationship with a young man.... An age limit should be posted. We did have Nicole on here puppylove123, she hasn't been on for a long while....but, she was a kick....loved talking about dogs, we all were part of her wait for a puppy....yes, she did talk about young kid things, but was sooooo funny....

but like I said not all teenagers do that..Theres a few teenagers on here who haven't said anything offensive or inappropriate. I think they should at least be given a chance and if they cause trouble just ban them. I've come across a few adults that aren't all that mature either. | |

No Longer a Member | The same happened to me with the PM's. I told her she needs to talk to her parents about this stuff. I don't feel comfortable discussing this kind of thing with someone else's kid. I also don't think it is appropriate even for "off-topic" discussions here especially considering I have not seen any yorkie-related posts from her. Just my $.02 |

Another forum I visit has a min. age of 18. It isn't even an adult forum; topics inappropriate for someone under 18 occasionally arise, just as they do here.

| i am really sorry that i hurt her feelings but she was aggravating me half to death. i kept telling her i thought she needs to talk to her mom and not be on here discussing this with adults. She just kept on and on and you all know me by now. i don't always use tact. i finally just flat out told her she was very immature and basically the same thing I posted here. She said okay but can you still help me and answer why we are satuck together. i then asked her politely to nort pm me anymore. She said ok, then kept on. When she first wrote mee, i didn't make the connection and thought it was someonee asking me about dogs being 'stuck together and couldn't get away. Go figure. i have TWO mentally handicaped children, one severrly and the other learning disabled. he is adopted. That's why i tried really hard to be patient but it just got to be too much. her last posts on her thread just shows how really immature she is. We 'grown-ups' need to stop responding to that thread and let it die. She has another similar one right under it . |
