I was wondering if it would be possable to have a Christmas gift exchange for the Mom's or Dad's here at YT. I thought this would be fun and nice thing for all the Mom's or Dad's that would like to join in on something like this? What do you think and what do others here at YT think on doing this?

I like the idea too... in the signup would you have people state their interests or something though? I'm just thinking it could be hard to buy for someone you don't really know?

We are open to the idea of Gift Exchanges for YorkieTalk Mom & Dads if there is enough interest among our members here. We are not sure if it would be difficult or not to "shop" for your member or how that would work at this point. If anyone has any ideas, please reply.

We would require partcipants be YorkieTalk Donating Members with a minimum age of 18 (or with their parents' approval). Thus, YorkieTalk could ensure that each and every Gift Exchange participant will receive a gift even if their Secret Buddy doesn't send a gift.

We would like at least 10 willing participants (though 20 or more would be ideal) to start a Gift Exchange.

We also would allow participants in countries other than the USA or Canada, but the cost of shipping is extraordinarily high for packages, thus we would require a $20 shipping fee for overseas participants per Gift Exchange. This fee would be directly paid to the Secret Buddy who is sending the gift overseas.

If members want to exchange gifts one on one with another fellow YT member and friend, that is fine by us and encouraged, however, we do not allow threads for "unofficial" YT Gift Exchanges or looking for people to exchange gifts with.

I think this is a great idea! Perhaps we could have a theme or depending on the number of participants, various themes and you could take part in one that is applicable or of interest to you.
