| WARNING! Buying a new puppy... WARNING! Buying a new puppy... PuppyFind.com, which is found on our YorkieTalk forum page under "Puppies for Sale" should NOT be advertised on our website! I was looking at it (because I love looking at puppies) and thought it strange, to say the least, that AKC/Camp. lines yorkie puppies going for $350?!?!? I noticed several pups going for $350 and under, as young as 5 weeks old, and the price included shipping!!! (worldwide! no problem!) It's a total scam - it has to be! They tell you to "wire them the money" and they will ship the puppy to you. (yeah, right.) I would hate for someone who is looking for a yorkie puppy, read our forums (which are great!), trust our site and it's members, and then choose to find a puppy via PuppyFind.com! Let's get them off of our YorkieTalk page! They are dangerous to future dog owners and the puppies! (there are also many articles on sick puppies found on this site) Check it out on the web...very disturbing.

| I got a puppy from there before, and it was not a scam, I did however get many emails from people who were scammers from puppy find during my search. So maybe to be fair to the poor people who aren't scammers, we could somehow put some sort of warning on here to let people know not to wire money, and maybe some other suggestions on how to not get scammed?!? I don't know of any ways not to, but I'm sure some people on here will know. |

| Really? Did you get your puppy for $350? That's a great price for a healthy yorkie pup. I'm glad you got lucky with your pup! Another thing that tipped me off was the location of the "breeders." I live in Seattle and one advertised that they were from Seattle...but their address said "Seattle, Washington DC" Their info was in some serious broken english and I really doubt they are located in the United States! A lot of nerve!

| LOl.... no she was 1300 dollars. But I made sure I used paypal, and I called her at her house, and talked to her before sending her the money, believe me until the minute I had that puppy in my arms, I was nervous thinking they were scammers too!! I was so paranoid! |

| I can see why your were nervous! Can I see a picture of your baby? I'll bet she's adorable! Of course, aren't they all?

Administrator | Just like on any site, there will be bad and good experiences with sellers on PuppyFind.com, or anywhere on the Internet. We have known about scammers on PuppyFind, but we have also heard of positive experiences on PuppyFind as well. YorkieTalk neither promotes or endorses any breeders or brokers, puppy sites, or stores and strongly encourages buyers to do the intensive, exhaustive research before buying or adopting a Yorkie. Any Yorkie that is listed for an extremely low price is indeed suspicious (unless it is a Yorkie rescue). We hope that any members or guests looking for a Yorkie will ask questions on YorkieTalk before sending any money, as many members will advise them of the dangers of a too-good-to-be-true Yorkie deal, as has happened before. YorkieTalk relies on Google ads for revenue to keep the site running and we do not control the ads that show up, as Google controls the ads that are displayed. |

| Jacsmama - if you go to the General Forum you'll find an active thread from TXshopper about these scammers and be able to read one of their emails (they are all basically the same) that is written in broken English. Since some of us have actively been trying to 'out' some of these scam artists I've been getting emails from puppyfind. In their defense they are aware of the problems and are trying hard to keep a reign on the known scammers. I can only imagine what a daunting task that must be and what a delicate balance they must have to maintain in order to weed out the bad while not offending the good. Just ask FastEddie!
