| How Come I don't want to appear stupid, but I see that several members are donating members, which means this is a purchased board. Being a paid for board, can any one tell me why there are advertisments on it. Usually if it is a private board, it is without ad's. I have visited a couple of the sites and they seem to be promoting not such nice breeders. Sorry, but I would never think of getting a puppy of of Puppyfind.com. Hope I don't get thrown off for this, but I am curious about it. |

Administrator | YorkieTalk is privately owned, but it is public in that our site is viewable without members having to join, and YorkieTalk continues to be a free Yorkie community. As we have stated before, donating does not give a member any "ownership" rights to YorkieTalk. While we gladly accept donations, they are in no way required. The ads are necessary to pay for the servers that YorkieTalk is on, for the monthly bandwidth requirements of the site, for promotions and giveaways, and for maintenance and upkeep of the site. We do not control what ads Google show up, as it is changes dynamically each time a page on YT is loaded. We have tried our best to not make ads overbearing and annoying, and since our inception, we have always had a few ads. Members are in no way required to click on any ads at all. We are sorry you do not approve of Puppyfind.com, but there are those that have had good experiences finding puppies through Puppyfind. There are good and bad breeders everywhere, we hope that we can educate the Yorkie community and those seeking Yorkies to find the good ones. We are in no way affiliated with any breeders, thus we do not advocate any one particular breeder over another. Members can always post and ask questions about any potential breeders or how to find a breeder, or they may search our archives for past reviews and experiences.
