I was browsing some threads here and I keep coming across more and more Biewer threads. I personally LOVE Biewers! I was thinking that maybe the owner of this site could make a sister site for Biewers or at least a section of this thread dedicated to Biewers only so that new comers do not get confused and think that a Biewer is a special form of Yorkie. Biewers are a whole different breed and I think some people will get confused with all the Biewers threads being mixed in with the other threads. JMHO

Admin, please take this into consideration

I was wondering something along the same line.
Think it is time for the breiwers to have a home of their own.
Not that I do not love seeing them but I have seen this happen on other boards and eventually they are made to feel unwelcome which is sad.
They just really need a home of their own. Even if it is here in thier very own section. As they are a terrier and from Yorkies originally.

Maybe all the talk about Biewers...especially the ones that are just pictures...could be moved to the "My Yorkie" or the "Brothers and Sisters" section? Since 1) they are in the Breeder section, but have nothing to do w/ breeding, and 2) they are not Yorkies?
It is just getting to be overwhelming to sift through all of them to fing the BREEDING info on YORKIES!

I think it is a great suggestion. Even though they came from 2 yorkies, so most Yorkie info. would apply to them, having their own place to call home would help eliminate some confusion and some tension.

That's what they were. Now they are a Biewer. A toy breed from Germany that has 3 colors

that also has a standard to be followed when breeding and showing.

Parti Yorkies which only require 2 colors one being white are still produced by what JeanineK describes. Biewers are produced differently.

I agree it would be wonderful to have a section for Biewers. So many here have them and it would keep the conflict issues down.
