When you are in the dialog box to post a reply (where I'm typing right now):

What are the two boxes in the upper right corner - Close Current Tag and Close All Tags?

And above, I understand the formatting tools and the Internet link tool, but what are the other tools for?

Guided Mode and Enhanced Mode?

Insert Email Link?

Wrap [CODE] Tags Around Selected Text?

Wrap [PHP] Tags Around Selected Text?

Wrap [quote] Tags Around Selectd Text?

I guess I'm really not sure what a 'tag' is....

Tags are the codes, such as [COLOR] or [FONT], which affect how your text is displayed in the post. You need to close the tags, such as [ / COLOR] or [ / FONT] (but without the spaces) before you can change it to another color or font. The current tag would be the most recent tag you have active, all tags would be all the tags you have used in your post.

Guided Mode and Enhanced Mode are just different ways to make your post. In guided mode when you press any of the bottons above the text box it will prompt for your input. In enhanced mode it will just put in an open tag into the text box. Also in guided mode it automaticly closes all open tags if any.

Insert email link allows you to insert an email address into your post if need be with correct tags.

Wrap [CODE] around selected text is if you need to change the font or color of a certain part of your post.

Wrap [PHP] is not used here.

Wrap [quote] is used to quote someone in your reply.

But seeing as you have over 2000 posts already, the stuff above really doesn't matter all that much...
