Donating YT 14K Club Member | Another forum/section... Could we PLEASE have a section of "BUYER BEWARE" or something to that effect??? That way, potential buyers can go see if the breeder they are talking to is in that section. I just spoke to someone that purchased a pup from a website that was mentioned here and after looking at this breeder's website saw that it was Kim Brock who does not cover LPs among other things. B_veselka has dealt with this woman and had a bad time with her. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11042 Please...I think it would make the searches of "HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS BREEDER" a lot better!!!!! Now, this person that has bought this pup is sick to death with worry and has every reason to be! For 3k, I'd be pretty freakin sick, too!

| We have the 'Reviews' section. Couldn't we just post there? and direct those that inquire on breeders there? that way posts can be of good and bad experiences with breeders instead of only bad stuff.. |

| Definately a good idea that will help everyone. Is there already a section for this. And yes, for $3000, I'd be sick too! |

Same as the emergency/sick/injured section. People use to post those in the general section and then their threads got buried. If we have a BEWARE OF BREEDER section, a search could have been done to prevent this person I know of buying from this breeder!

Administrator | Thank you for your suggestion. However, we do not feel comfortable having a section just for this purpose. Members can freely review their breeders in the review section already, and potential new Yorkie parents can search YorkieTalk or the Internet for reviews or post a question regarding a potential breeder before they adopt a new Yorkie. If any member would like to write a Guide to Adopting a Yorkie or How to Find the Right Breeder, we would be happy to review it and potentially Sticky that thread in the appropriate sections. |
