| How to make a pic smaller to upload? I tried to upload a pic of Chanel, but get a message saying the file is too big. How do you make a file smaller to upload? Many thanks! Chanel - Version 2.jpg: Your file of 1.04 MB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 200.0 KB for this filetype. |

| You are very welcome! I wish I knew a way to do multiple pics at once but the only programs I have found to do that cost $$$....the link I posted is free and free is good!

| The way I used to do it was to set my phone/camera settings to the smallest size available when taking pictures. |

The problem with that is that if you want to print pics or use them as screen savers/backgrounds the quality is poor. But if you are taking the pic with the sole intent of posting somewhere like here (with size limits) that sounds like the easiest way to do it.

Every where else seems to have auto re-sizing built in. Even a fishing forum/website, with WAY fewer members, that I am part of responded quickly with an upgrade when I pointed it out. Here, my request wasn't even responded to.. The easiest way to post photos here is to dummy down the camera, photo quality suffers if using the photos any where else. | I would love to post pix but I find it way too difficult to resize. I'm just not that computer savvy and with the new os I can't do or find anything. If it were not for my I Pad I wouldn't even use a computer. I wish Microsoft would stop changing systems. I loved windows 7 but it died.

| I posted this on another thread ************************** Image Resizer for Windows - Download: Image Resizer 2.1 I just installed this resizer and I like it so far. Once you install it all you have to do is find the pic in your PC, right click and choose resize. It gives you 3 options (small, med, large). It saves the file in the same directory and adds either small med or large to the file name. The best thing is that it will do multiple pics at once. I put it on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Not sure if it will work on a newer OS. Here is a sample of a file converted to large. It took less than 5 seconds to convert But it would still be easier if it were done automatically by YT.
