| Why isn't there a list of safe foods? I know there is a list (a sticky) of the foods that are bad for the babies, like chocolate and onions and on and on... Why isn't there a list (a sticky) that lists the foods that are ok for the furbutts? Or is it safe to assume that everything that isn't on that list is ok to give to the furbutts? Just asking!!!

| It isn't safe to assume that any food not on that list is safe and I think there is no safe list because it would be endless. There is just so much that they are allowed to have.

| I agree 100%. The Dangerous Food List is only a partial list that is added to as foods are deemed dangerous. AND what might be deadly for my furbutt might be perfectly ok for yours - especially in the case of dogs with undetected food issues, liver issues, etc. |

| Thanks for the clarification ladies! So the list is just a generalization for foods that are dangerous to all furbutts no matter what their food allergies and medical conditions? They are just bad cause they're bad and they are on the "No-No" list, right?

Those are foods that no dog should eat. There are other foods that need to be avoided in certain cases but you would learn what those foods are if your dog was diagnosed with a medical condition and the vet wanted you to follow a specific diet.
