| Pepto?????? Has anyone ever given Pepto? Was reading about some safe OTC meds to give and Pepto was recomended for diarrhea. No, it is not a parasite or anything serious....moma just got a little too generous with the cottage cheese. And I would not actually call it diarrhea....just loose stool. I have already tried the pumpkin. Just wanted to know if anyone had experience with the Pepto and if it helped.

| I've had a lot of luck with the Pepto helping out with the runs, and upset stomachs.

| The one thing to remember is to take care when administering any meds without consulting a vet. If your pup only has one loose stool....it could very well be they ate something they shouldn't have....if continues with what is beyond your pups normal routine....then I'd think about it....

http://kitchen.robbiehaf.com/PetHomeRemedies.html At any rate, I did go and look at the post but did not see dosages nor did I see reference made to following with the pepcid....maybe I did not read far enough but thanks. This is the second day that delilah has had a bit of the messy poops and I gave her the pumpkin last night. Just wanted to know about the Pepto as a backup if I needed it. However, she just had a more formed stool so I think the pumpkin and withholding the cottage cheese has worked.
