| Ear sores Today Kirby was acting"silly" rubbing his head intothe carpet. Later I noticed he had a few scabby sores on the upper inner flap of his ears...on each side. I am assuming they are ithcy or irritating him.I am going to vet as soon as I can get in, but wondered what any of you have experienced like this.

| I don't know maybe it's mites or fleas. Hope he's ok.

| Kirby has an ear infection and was rubbing his ears which caused the scabs. He is on 7 days of antibiotic. Vet said probably due to water in ear from baths.....I totally agree, I try to keep it out and he goes nuts trying to dry his ears up after baths. Vet gave me ear drying solution for after baths. My son uses something similar after swimming so as not to get ear infections....but it never dawned on me that I could use something like that on Kirby's ears. Hopefully it clears up nicely and the solutions works. Thanks !
