| BACK to the vet again... the snorting noise isn't stopping. last week I took maggie in and they said they thought it was reverse sneezing. but she is doing it all the time. i wouuld think that if it were some sort of sneeze...it would be triggered by something. but she does it when she is excited, or when she is just being held, or any time. it's just weird to me. i personally think she sounds very congested. so we are heading back to see the vet. a different doctor...she will be seeing the same one she saw for her leg. i hope he will look into it more. the other dr. heard it and immediately said it was reverse sneezing. if that is what it is...GREAT...but if not...we need to know about it and get it fixed. i hate that she is going through this

| he said her lungs sound perfectly clear...he thinks she is having trouble clearing her throat and the back of her nose because of her breathing in different things...he said that if the benadryl doesn't seem to help, he gave me a name of something else to use. he said it is like having allergies, but not severe. that she is simply trying to clear her throat and nose and is having a little trouble doing so. he is not concerned and said that she will be just fine, but we need to find an antihistamine that works for her.

| Sorry you and her are going through this, and am glad you're getting a second opinion. They're so tiny and helpless that I'd feel better with another opinion. Did they give you any medicine the first time? Tell the doctor she sounds congested to you. Best wishes, and keep us updated.

| Praying for sweet Maggie!! Did the vet suggest what she may be allergic to? Is there something in the environment or house she might be reacting to or could it be food? I was in Nashville this weekend, busy, busy - thought I would get you called, if nothing else when I went to the airport on Sunday afternoon - but they messed up my connecting flight, so I didn't fly out until 6 am Monday -- didn't think anyone would appreciate a call at 5 am - lol. Hope you are doing well.

they did not indicate that she is necessarily allergic to anything, just that she could be breathing in something that might not be too easy for her to clear out of her sinuses...maybe grass seed or something. she seems to be doing a little better, i think
