| Acting weird, arching her back-Please Read!!! I got home from work today and Princess was standing like a cat, with her backed arched up. Her tail was in between her legs and she was acting so weird. We took her to the emergency vet and they gave her an enama and expressed her glands. The vet said she had a lot of wastes inside her and that might be the problem. Only thing is, we got home and she was fine for like 10 minutes, then went right back to the arch and ran to her bed. She drank water and ate a piece of cheese I gave her. She even peed, so its not like she is vomiting or anything. Does anyone know what this might be? Any help please!!

| I don't know what it is called but it sounds like a back problem. There is a post about a Yorkie named Emma... look for the thread. She had the same thing...of we don't know if you baby has "the same thing" but that os what she was doing but she was also in much discomfort. Tina |

| It is under the heading Emergencies....it is captioned "Olbears update on Emma's Spinal Issues". There is a lot of information that you might be able to relate to. I hope not I hope your case is not as complex and that it's just a sprained muscle that will relax. Tina |

| Many years ago I had a Dachshund. On a trip we had an accident that scared the dog so bad that his back arched up like a Halloween cat. I had to take him to the Vet. for a muscle relaxant shot. It could be your baby was either very scared or she is in some sort of pain. I'd take her to a Vet. Hugs to your baby. |
