| My puppy had surgery today she seems so tired! My 13 month old furbaby had a hystiocytoma tumor (benign thank god!) removed today from her paw. She also had 2 puppy teeth that never came out pulled. I brought her home at 3:00 p.m. Its 6:10 here and I set up a nice cozy bed for her with the family in the living room and she got up and went in her crate in the other room and went to bed. I feel sooooooo bad. Do you think its normal for her to be still so out of it. She didnt even seem this bed when she got spayed. She did lift up her head to eat a piece of bread I gave her. My poooooooor baby girl!! |

| Ah, poor baby. Do you know what time she had the surgery? One of my Siamese had a dental once that they did late because of an emergency. She was really out of it all night. Did they give her pain meds? That will make her tired, too. |

| Bless her heart. She's had a rough day. I would think that it wouldn't be that unusual for her to still be tired. (For me, the sad part would be that she wouldn't want to let me comfort her and preferred her crate ) Warm wishes that she will feel more like herself in the morning.

| Maybe she will be better tomorrow. She has been through alot and just needs to sleep some of the anesthesia off probably. I am glad the tumor was benign. |

| She should be fine in the morning. If you've had surgery before, you know it takes a day or so to recoup. Keep us updated! Get well little girl. |

| I hope she's doing better today. They might have done the surgery late in the day.

| As soon as I was typing and finishing up, I felt a little fur at my ankles and she had wandared over to me to curl up SMILES SMILES SMILES! She ate some dinner and drank a little water (per vet's instructions, and she curled up on bed with me for the night. Today this morning she is my little crazy girl!!!! Although if the bandage on her paw lasts until Friday morning (when we go and get it taken off), I will definitely be surprised. She is pulling at the tip already! But she is definitely feeling much much better. Thank you all!!! |
