| Sick Baby I am not sure what is wrong with Jack. He woke this moring around 5:30 and threw up. He had water around 6:00. He has thrown up two more times (it is about 4:00 pm in Germany) and I have not seen him eat or drink anything. He seems to be lethargic or something. When I call him to go out he just looks at me. This is not his usual self. He usually comes running and you can't get his leash on fast enough. I have tried and tried to get him to drink and he refuses. Does anyone have any idea what this could be. I am so worried. Also, he is 8 months old. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Poor little guy - will he eat some boiled chicken and rice maybe ?? make sure you keep him drinking - just small amounts and use a syringe if he won't drink on his own - if he continues to feel bad I'd make a vet appointment for him - They can get little tummy upsets like we do but if it continues - I'd def see someone ...it's so hard seeing them not feel well and sending Get Well Wishes to your Jack |

| How is he doing now? If he's vomitting, maybe you can try to get him to drink water by adding just a little honey to it...enough for him to get the taste and want it...I hope your little guy starts feeling better!!

| Update Well we took Jack to the vet last night and they seem to thing that he has an infection. They gave him some iv fluids and antibiotics. They also gave him something for his temperature and for his upset stomach. Today he is pretty much acting the same. He hasn't had anything to drink today. (it is 12:30 pm) I am cooking him some chicken and rice. The Vet told my husband and I not to feed him until tomorrow but I think he needs something. I don't know how to get him to drink. I have tried everything. He is just laying in my lap now. I don't know if I should take him back to the vet or what. I am lost! Please help!!! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie had that last week, The meds made her more sleepy and I did feed her. My feeling is if they aren't feeling well they won't eat but at least it is there. Pixie did eat and was fine 24 hours later. Good luck
